The Animation Guild Blog has launched its latest report regarding all the Animated Studios in Los Angeles, CA and their current shows in development.
On CN's side, Ian Jones-Quartey's OK, KO, as well as the new Samurai Jack, are in development, as is the rest of the CN Originals, save Uncle Grandpa and Clarence (there is no announcement of Clarence ever getting a new season. So it's either Clarence finished it's production early and is waiting for the next upfront, or is indeed just as finished as series altogether)
Pretty much all of the new animated works for Disney are in the works right now for their 2017 debut, including Ducktales, Tangled, and even Big Hero 6. Penn Zero is close to finishing its series (and it won't be missed). The Animation Guild also noted that Disney is outsourcing their animation and reducing their episode numbers as a cost-cutting measure. I'd be surprised if they go with the Anime-standard of 13 episodes per show.
Nothing to report on Nick on what we already know. Same goes to Warner Bros.
Pretty much everyone within the Dreamworks Universe will continue to have their shows (Shrek, Madagascar, Croods, etc) and we WILL get a third HTTYD movie to ultimately end the franchise.
Titmouse meanwhile is working on several projects for Disney, Dreamworks, Amazon, and Netflix. One of them is the anticipated Niko and The Sword of Light.
Dear Universal, WILL YOU PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP MAKING ANOTHER LAND BEFORE TIME WORK!
Anyhow, I did ask a question to The Animation Guild if they know anything more on Regular Show's status. Hopefully, I'll get an answer soon.
