So someone spoiled the plot of Suicide Squad. Will not spoil it here, but I will give my thoughts:
- The team is definitely based on their New 52 versions
- The foundation of the Suicide Squad is loosely based on Project Cadmus (read: a way to defeat Superman)
- Like X-Men Apocalypse, a number of the SS members have very small roles up to having no dialogue at all
- Take a good guess why WB is doing a solo Harley Quinn movie
- Batman and Joker's appearances are just as frequent as the Assault on Arkham movie (meaning not so much)
- Deadshot is literally just Will Smith in a costume
I'd say the movie is a 50/50 split. Well, I'll see for myself when it comes out eventually.
