According to Variety, Marvel is producing a series of Animated shorts based on Ant-Man and Guardians of The Galaxy's Rocket Racoon & Groot. The shorts are part of a deal Disney and other studios made with the French Government on producing Animation in France with tax breaks included. A similar case happened in Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball as the series is produced in the UK with tax breaks from the British Government that resulted in the quality of the animation we see in the show.
Below are samples of animated works by Ugo Bienvenu and Kevin Manach, the French Directors hired by Marvel to do a series of animated shorts based on Ant-Man. The video is NSFW since it contains some nudity (it is from France after all).
I'll admit, I'm impressed and if they can do this kind of animation and not like the one from Disney's Ultimate Spider-Man, I'm all for it.
